*Important: Florida Statute 119 is one of the most far reaching open records laws of any state in the nation.
If you want to remain anonymous, do not provide any personal information when you file a complaint.
Also, please be aware that under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not file your complaint by electronic mail.
While complaints may be received anonymously; internal audit can only provide you with information or request additional information if you include your contact information.
The initial steps in the internal audit process include a preliminary review of allegations to determine the probability that alleged acts could have occurred.
Referrals are made to the appropriate law enforcement agency or State Attorney’s office when evidence suggests that a criminal activity that could warrant an investigation is occurring, or may have occurred.
